The current construction dates from the medieval period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"1719\" class=\"translation-block\">A square-plan building can be observed, built using the technique called <strong data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1174\">\u201copus quadratum\u201d<\/strong>, constructed with limestone blocks mixed with red sandstone. The stones are arranged in horizontal courses, except at the level of the loopholes, where horizontal and vertical placement was combined to achieve a regular alignment of the openings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"1719\">The window sills are defined by vertical slabs.
