Carnival is the ultimate celebration of revelry. Until the end of the last century, the Carnival of the Anoia River filled the streets with costumes and the festivities concluded at Progrés.

In recent decades, the Martorell Carnival has gained significant momentum and popular acceptance, with the participation of many floats, adopting a more playful and family-oriented character.

Every year, a theme is chosen, and each group selects the most appropriate costume.
