FGC METRIC GAUGE

FGC Narrow-Gauge Railway

The FGC Metric Gauge Space is a museum focused on the history of the railway network now known as the Llobregat-Anoia Line. This museum is located near the Martorell-Central stations of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya and ADIF, and displays an extensive collection of historic vehicles that were previously scattered across various storage locations.

Throughout the scheduled visit route, groups will be guided and receive explanations from specialized staff of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). The visitable space includes historical pieces belonging to the company, explanatory panels detailing the origin of the displayed items, commemorative booklets, and a permanent FGC exhibition. Access to the facility is adapted for strollers and people with reduced mobility, and it has restrooms, security service, and free parking.

The vehicles preserved there are catalogued as historic heritage and have been restored by Ferrocarrils. The FGC Metric Gauge Space can be visited for free with prior reservation. Bookings can be made via the FGC Heritage website: https://www.fgc.cat/patrimoni-fgc/
