The Three Kings Parade of Martorell is one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year, especially for the little ones at home.

Around six in the afternoon, when it is already dark, Their Majesties Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar cross the Devil’s Bridge and are welcomed by the authorities and by Page Viu Viu, who is in charge of collecting the letters from the children of Martorell.

From that moment, they begin a parade with a proclamation from the Town Hall balcony and a procession with the floats and many companions through the different neighborhoods of Martorell, ending at the Rambla de les Bòbiles, where they finish collecting the children’s letters with their wishes.

Since 1962, Martorell has continuously celebrated the arrival of the Three Wise Men, thanks to the existence of the Board of the Three Kings Parade, the organization responsible for the event.

In 2009, Catalonia Television recognized the importance and tradition of the Martorell Three Kings Parade with a live broadcast across the region.
