The Martorell Town Festival is held on August 15, in honor of Martorell’s patron saint, Saint Mary of the Assumption.

It is the most important celebration in Martorell’s festive calendar.

The street is the meeting place and participatory festival space for the citizens of Martorell and the surrounding area. Concerts, performances by traditional culture groups, guided theatrical visits to museums, and other events fill the town with activities to enjoy the festival.

In several restaurants, you can also taste Martorell’s typical dish, chicken with grapes.
